Nature of Fate -

(a) This painting from Vincent F. is representing a woman in a night dress and red hood advancing down a staircase. There is a complicated expression on her face - as if she is feeling guilt, dissapointment, dread. She also seems to be stepping down the staircase very slowly or hesitatingly.

(b) Elements used:

(c) He has created a suspensful mood. From the expression on the womans face and by her slow hastily movement it is almost as if the woman is expecting something unpleasant at the bottom of the staircase. It leaves the viewers curious and wondering why the woman is so tense.
